Dec2022 – Thankful

I am grateful to be part of an awesome family. Love and support are who we are and what we do. I am truly blessed.

Boats, Bass, Babies (grand) and Bourbon!

A near perfect day for me is when I get to go fishing for bass on my boat and top off the end of the day with a nice glass of bourbon. And, who knew grandbabies were so much fun!! I was blessed with a grandson in August of 2022, my second grandchild. I am grateful for a wonderful family and my health!

In 2023, I am looking forward to getting my office organized and my desk cleared of “files!”  Personal-wise – Getting into my woodshop more and building some furniture!!

Personally, I am most grateful for the health and happiness of my family. Professionally, I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with an amazing team to help protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil that feeds us.

I am looking forward to the new and exciting challenges that 2023 will bring!

What am I most grateful for in 2022?  I am most grateful for good health, family, and all the moments, both big and small, spent with those I care for most.

What am I looking forward to most in 2023?  Looking forward to more good health and adventurous moments.

Amy

I’m most grateful for the people in my life that support me and the opportunity to support them – my children, girlfriend, family, friends and coworkers. The adventures and celebrations this year; camping trips, live music, exploring in Alaska and Colorado, my parents 50th anniversary, would have been empty without them. Oh, and bikes.

I’m looking forward to all the possibilities a new year brings.

Jacob

I am grateful for spending quality time with my family.

For 2023, I am looking forward to the opportunities that will be afforded to me.

For 2022— Thankful for the opportunities to work on varied technically interesting projects with many great clients, and on a personal note, the time to spend connecting with family and friends over the holidays!

For 2023 — I am looking forward to renewing professional engagements to broaden my network and to learn new skills. Outside of work, I look forward to spending time “Up North” – fishing, hiking, boating, biking and a new sport for us – snowmobiling!

Mike

Thankful for the addition of a daughter-in-law, Lauren, to our family.

Kevin

As I get older, and hopefully wiser, I am more and more thankful for my upbringing and all that it taught me. My small hometown, close-knit family, and little country church gave me a strong foundation that has helped me weather many storms, as well as given me a sense of what is important. Doing good, quality work and giving people you care about a livelihood, is important. This year at Environmental Standards has been one of change, challenges, and anticipation. I would be remiss not to express thankfulness for my coworkers (our new Montrose colleagues included) who have worked so hard and given so much in navigating this adventure we are on together. May we have fun, and experience purpose and success in the adventures ahead!

With 2022 coming to an end, I am reflecting on the year and the things I am thankful for. The first thing that comes to mind is that I am thankful and proud to be the grandfather of two amazing grandchildren. Each of them is a fighter, as both have endured several serious medical procedures this year and prior years, but both are healthy and happy and beaming with energy, curiosity, and personality. I am amazed and thankful for the continued strength of my daughter and son-in-law to persevere though challenging times.

I am thankful to see my son pursue his passion and advance his education by getting his doctorate degree. He is studying what he loves and is getting closer to making a living out of it.

I am thankful to still be able to spend time with my mother and father, as I know our older population has struggled through the pandemic. They have their health issues but are still present and are an important part of my life.

I am thankful to be doing meaningful and fulfilling work, and to be able to do it with amazingly talented and driven colleagues. I am so very thankful to be part of this Team.

In the coming year, I look forward to spending quality time with family, friends, and colleagues.  I look forward to continuing to work on some very interesting and challenging projects and to being involved in new opportunities and meeting new clients. 2023 looks to be an interesting and exciting year!
