Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Golab on being elected as a Director of the Chicago Section of the American Chemical Society. Serving for two years, regional Directors vote on policy decisions, nominate committee members, approve the budget, participate in Local Section activities, and act on issues that are brought before the Board. Dr. Golab has recently joined Environmental Standards as Senior Advisor in Computational Sciences and is based out of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Golab’s interests focus on practical applications of computational science and engineering to problems of industrial interest.
