Michael R. Green, Ph.D, MBA, CPEA
Senior Advisor/Principal
Dr. Michael Green has over 30 years of industry experience including developing, implementing, managing, and auditing sampling, analysis, and data programs and health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) programs. Additionally, Dr. Michael Green has experience developing and implementing process safety management (PSM) audit programs.
Professional Experience
Positions held include Sampling & Data Manager; Compliance Auditing Manager; Planning Manager HSSE Compliance Program Manager, Manager – Logistics HSSE; Resource Manager; Research Supervisor; Customer Service Coordinator, and Research Scientist.
Dr. Michael Green has participated in HSSE facility audits at chemical plants, refineries, lube plants, chemical and fuel terminals, natural gas liquids (NGL) plants and storage facilities, solar cell manufacturing facilities, airport fueling operations, office buildings, environmental laboratories, research laboratories, toxicology laboratories, fuels testing laboratories, and geochemical laboratories.
He has managed laboratories/programs/projects involving GC, HPLC, IC, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, ICP, ICP/MS, XRF, XRD, Thermal and Particle Analysis, IR, FTIR, RAMAN, UV-VIS, NMR, SEM, EDX, PES, and Process Analytical Instrumentation. Experiences include ASTM, environmental, forensic, fuel quality, polymer, and toxicity testing.
Certifications
Dr. Michael Green is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor through the Board of Environmental Auditors Certifications (BEAC) Certification Specialty: Health & Safety (Certificate Number: 873). He completed Offshore Water Survival HUET METS Model 5 training (2013).

Dr. MichaelGreen earned his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The Ohio State University in 1987, his B.S. in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University in 1983, and his MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1999.
