Professional Experience
With over 34 years of experience in chemistry consulting, litigation support, quality assurance (QA), data validation, and analytical method and regulatory review, Ms. Michell serves as the Technical Director of the Advisory/Specialty Services Chemistry business line.
Ms. Michell is a Certified Environmental Analytical Chemist (CEAC) through the National Registry of Certified Chemists, and she has developed and implemented multidisciplinary QA programs for complex projects, encompassing the full data quality lifecycle. Her experience includes the planning, development, and execution of environmental and bio-monitoring sampling and analytical programs, as well as providing support to bench- and pilot-scale incineration studies. Ms. Michell is a subject-matter expert in the evaluation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, polychlorinated biphenyl, and polychlorinated dioxins and dibenzofurans analytical methods and data. She has managed large data validation efforts for high-profile projects and has provided technical expertise to industrial and trade organizations on analytical and regulatory issues.
Education
Ms. Michell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Gettysburg College and a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
