Environmental Standards’ experience managing contaminated
water and sediment sites has enabled us to develop a variety of
methods to address Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) projects nationwide.
When developing TMDLs, it is vital to stay abreast of new technologies
and the ever-changing US EPA regulations (section 303(d) of the
1972 Clean Water Act) that affect waterways and other aquatic locations,
including the concept of looking at an entire watershed rather than
an individual water site.
Our work with a number of Fortune companies has provided us with
the expertise to identify TMDL issues and develop effective solutions
to minimize future liability and risks to human health and the environment.
Our specific services include:
- Establishing TMDLs
- Developing Pollutant Minimization Plans
- Negotiating Acceptance of the TMDL
