October 2011 - Environmental Standards' Joseph Kraycik, P.G., LEED AP, is featured in a video detailing a Pennsylvania Brownfields Success Story. Click here for the video. The Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market, a Brownfield Renewal Award-winning project, is featured in the video.

October 2011 - The Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market (PWPM), was awarded a Brownfield Renewal Award in the Economic Impact Category.  The PWPM, located at 6700 Essington Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the largest fully-refrigerated wholesale produce market in the world.  Situated on a 48.6-acre brownfield site that was formerly used as an auto salvage, tire disposal facility, scrap yard, and historical waste dump, this state of the art 700,000 sq. ft. facility now provides high quality, fresh produce to customers within a 500-mile radius.  Environmental Standards worked closely with project stakeholders for this brownfields redevelopment project.

January 2011 - Environmental Standards, Inc. joined the Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) as an Associate Member. Founded in 2008, the MSC is an organization committed to the responsible development of natural gas from the Marcellus Shale geological formation and the enhancement of the region’s economy that can be realized by this clean-burning energy source.

September 3, 2010 - Environmental Standards, Inc. has ranked as one of the 2010 fastest-growing, privately-held businesses in the Philadelphia region by the Philadelphia 100, Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Business Journal.  Out of more than 250 nominated companies, the 100 winners represent one of the most impressive groups in the 22-year history of the Philadelphia 100.

August 25, 2010 - Patrick A. Conlon, a Senior Quality Assurance Chemist at Environmental Standards, Inc., passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2010, in Houston, Texas.  Pat will be sorely missed by his colleagues at Environmental Standards and throughout the environmental analytical industry. August 24, 2010 - Environmental Standards was named to the 2010 Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest Growing Companies. This is the 4th year in a row that Environmental Standards was named to the List.
