Corporate Quality Assurance Documentation & Training Specialist
Environmental Standards, Inc., a leader in developing innovative solutions to client environmental liabilities, has a Corporate Quality Assurance Documentation & Training Specialist position open in our Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, office.  Since our inception in 1987, we have enjoyed long-term relationships with Fortune 500 companies and continue to provide high-quality environmental chemistry consulting services using emerging science and technologies.

We are seeking an environmental chemist with experience in data validation to develop and document standard operating procedures SOPs and to establish a corporate training program.  The following responsibilities are associated with this position, depending upon the amount of prior experience:

  • Audit, create and maintain SOPs
  • Perform skills gap analysis
  • Develop a training program for newly hired employees
  • Cross-train employees
  • Provide other training as may be required by federal or state authorities
  • Remain current in relevant technical and regulatory issues
  • Some travel to other office locations

The following qualifications are required:

  • B.S. or M.S. Degree in Chemistry
  • 5-10 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of US EPA and other environmental analytical methods
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation including GC/MS, GC, ICP, and HPLC
  • Experience in reviewing and validating US EPA organic and inorganic analytical data as an independent consultant
  • On-site auditing experience at environmental laboratories and familiarity with The NELAC Institute (TNI) requirements
  • Experience in developing SOPs
  • Experience in creating and delivering training programs
