
Environmental Chemists
Environmental Standards, Inc., a leader in developing innovative solutions to client environmental liabilities, with offices in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania; Charlottesville, Virginia; and Kingston, Tennessee, has staff-level environmental chemist (non-laboratory) positions available at our scenic Valley Forge office. Since our inception in 1987, we have enjoyed long-term relationships with Fortune 500 companies and continue to provide high-quality environmental chemistry consulting services using emerging science and technologies.
We are seeking environmental chemists to perform data validation, laboratory auditing, quality assurance program management, and forensic chemistry consulting. The following responsibilities are associated with these positions - depending upon the amount of prior experience:
- Review and validation of US EPA organic and inorganic analytical data.
- Audits of the procedures of environmental laboratories.
- Proposal development for new projects and reports for quality assurance services.
- Preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plans.
- Overnight travel for client meetings, laboratory audits and presentations at conferences/seminars.
The following qualifications are preferred:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry
- 0-3 years of environmental laboratory experience in GC/MS, GC, ICP, HPLC.
- Familiarity with the US EPA methods for the preparation and analysis of environmental samples.
