
Account Executive - Knoxville/Oak Ridge, TN
Environmental Standards, Inc., a leader in developing innovative solutions to client environmental liabilities, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Account Executive to support our planned office in the Knoxville/Oak Ridge area of Tennessee.
The Account Executive reports to the Director of Business Development in our Valley Forge, Pennsylvania office and will grow our Knoxville/Oak Ridge office by performing the following activities:
- Selling environmental consulting services to strategic clients
- Identifying and qualifying sales leads in the Greater Tennessee market
- Making outbound calls
- Seeking and screening RFPs
- Scheduling and holding client meetings
- Participating in tradeshows and sponsored events with high attendance
The following qualifications are required:
- 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role
- Proven sales success
- BS degree, preferably in an environmental field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Broad knowledge of the company’s core services
- Local to the Knoxville/Oak Ridge, Tennessee area
- Existing relationships with professionals who rely on outside environmental consultants
- Energetic and charismatic personality
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Experience with Deltek Vision or similar CRM program
