Technical Director of Chemistry/Principal Rock J. Vitale, CEAC,
CPC, founded Environmental Standards in 1987 to provide niche services
including environmental quality assurance and data validation, risk
assessment, and geosciences. The company quickly grew and was listed
as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies by the Philadelphia
Business Journal in 1991, 1992, and 1993.
David R. Blye, CEAC; Gerald L. Kirkpatrick, P.G.; Dennis P. Callaghan;
Ruth L. Forman, CEAC; and Daniel P. Claycomb, P.G. joined Mr. Vitale
as Principals of Environmental Standards and have brought a wealth
of environmental consulting experience to the company.
Environmental Standards built a new 20,000 square foot headquarters
in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, in 1994. Today, the company has grown
to nearly 60 employees and is an internationally recognized environmental
consulting firm. In 2005 the company expanded its operations to
Charlottesville, Virginia, where the company opened a branch office.
